MICF 2013. bitches.
Another round of Melbourne International Comedy Festival registrations is drawing to a close and, for the first time (assuming all goes to plan), it looks like I’ll be involved in TWO SHOWS!
I’ll be doing my solo show ‘Jackson Voorhaar’s One True Love(s)’ and also a split show with fellow comrade in comedy/metal, Mitch Alexander. It looks like 2013′s MICF will be packed full of busy-ness and MOTHERFUCKIN’ COMEDYJOKES!!
Also, put this in your earballs!
Edinburgh Draws Near!
This year Jackson brings his self-deprecating style to his loves (Prog Rock, sex, beer, travel, love) and his loathes (babies, Australia, yoga, animals, love). An honest and hilarious destructive analysis of his own tastes.

Is anyone else this anal/geeky?
So I’m ‘busy’ putting together my list to decide the top 10 albums released in 2011. I can’t be the only one, surely.
So far the front-runners are (in no particular order):
Pallas – XXV
Von Hertzen Brothers – Stars Aligned
Opeth – Heritage
Dream Theater – A Dramatic Turn of Events
Phideaux – Snowtorch
Graveyard – Hisingen Blues
TesseracT – One
Anubis – A Tower of Silence
The Tangent – Comm
Steven Wilson – Grace For Drowning
Is that sad? Someone other than me (and my friends) must do this too?
Also, my new favourite portmanteau is Analgeeky.
